I work differently to other therapists. I don't talk about the problem for months, or mask the problem with coping strategies like breathing or mindfulness. Nor am i a hypnotherapist that just uses suggestion therapies taking months to get positive change.
I want my clients to not only live a life where they can break through their anxiety rather than just plastering over their symptoms, I want my clients to build a confidence in them which will serve them to reach their goals and dreams.

"I decided to try hypnosis as I wanted to overcome a long held limiting belief, after a friend recommended Ian to me. Having invested a lot of money in a number of different coaches nothing had been so powerful or given me such instant results. After just one session, Ian removed my limiting belief and I was blown away! Using a combination Hypnosis, NLP and Kinetic Shift, Ian worked his magic. Before I began sessions with Ian at UMC50 my anxiety had amped up to a point where tasks such as work, socialising and many aspects of life had become difficult and taxing. I had suffered from a traumatic experience, which I believe is where my anxiety stemmed from. Because of this, I was very withdrawn when around family and friends, as my anxiety would overtake being in the moment, I had feelings of hopelessness, crippling self-doubt and over thinking every conversation/ encounter.
I had previously undergone counselling but unfortunately, this had only eased my levels of anxiety slightly.
I had no knowledge or experience of hypnotherapy, but I had heard very good things of Ian’s sessions through work colleagues. I was very apprehensive and nervous to begin my therapy, however Ian took the time to complete an initial phone call with me to talk through what to expect, what the sessions were all about and what they would achieve. This put me at ease and meant I could get the most out of the sessions. Ian was very personable and friendly and an exceptionally easy person to talk to.
Since I completed the sessions with Ian my mind has been a lot clearer. I have stopped reliving the traumatic event repeatedly in head and the flashbacks from the event has stopped. I am now present when with my friend and family, and am able to be genuinely able to enjoy the moment. Close friends have made comments that I seem like a different, happier person.
